I think I might actually keep up the Plexus after this challenge is over, it seems to be giving me good results with weight loss. I might even get my husband on it, if we can afford it. I am going to keep working out and see if that improves the results even more.

Plexus Slim Challenge Day 25

Good evening, everyone! I am really late on the blogging today, for not even supposed to be blogging anyways, I am sure keeping a good daily record, lol

I was awful with my water today since I went food shopping. Always am bad on the water intake when I go out of town. I did manage 44 oz of water though, so that is more than I usually manage on these kind of trips.

Okay, whenever I go out of town, I ALWAYS stop at a Starbucks and pick up a drink. Well, today was my first time out of town since I have come back from vacation and since I have been taking the plexus slim, I have only been drinking water and the plexus in the am. That is it. No sugar drinks at all. No teas, or coffee or ANYTHING besides water and Plexus. This was a personal choice and not required but heck, if I am attempting to get 100 oz of water in, why let anything else distract me? 

The results? My god, it was so sweet! My stomach was so upset at me and made me thankful that I only got a small size. I ended up sharing with my daughter and she thought it was the best thing ever, lol

What I learned? My body has been detoxing from sugar without me paying attention since I am not a big sweets fan in the first place, I have noticed that I don't really find desserts appealing unless I am really in the mood. I don't want a dessert every night and I feel fine when I skip one. I guess my wallet will be happy now that I can't really handle Starbucks anymore but my mood will sure be sad. We shall see if this is just a phase or if I am just over the really sugary stuff. 


Workout?

I was so busy today with the shopping and sorting of my food that I will call that my workout. Walking around the store counts as well, lol, it was not the amazing workout that I have been doing these past two days but I think it is okay to let my really sore muscles recover for the day and to pick up some workouts tomorrow.

Guys, day 2 of working out again and I am feeling awful but amazing, I am still shaking from sore and used muscles. Drenched in sweat and wanting to just pass out on the floor! I haven't felt like this since the beginning of Mountain Mamas. Here is what I did today:

I had to use my green band on the workout and I felt so weak! I can't wait to get back to my red band and feeling strong again. On the plus side of working out at home, I can workout in just my bra and underwear and it doesn't matter, rofl!!

I am happy with my measurements and weight today! Here is a break down of my stats from day one to current, today:
 
   Waist: - 2"
   Hips: - .5"
   Thigh: Same
   Chest: Same
   Weight: -0.6 oz

After some gains, there are losses and now I am less than my current weight from I was starting! All of this with little to NO exercise! Only drinking the Plexus Slim and 100 oz of water per day (on average, lol, a couple days didn't make 100).



Remember, I am no longer blogging except on Monday's because that is when I will notice or see changes in my body.

I can't believe it has already been 18 days! I ended up switching over to plain vanilla unsweetened almond milk and it was so depressing. I can't wait to switch back to coconut!

I helped a friend clean out her storage unit and that was a great workout! I was in the sun, getting some fresh air and sweating!

I have been asked by a couple people to talk more about how I am feeling while taking the plexus. To be honest, I haven't noticed any changes that I can thank plexus for. I know that drinking the water is a great way to flush toxins and other crap out of my system and when I missed the 100 oz for two days straight, I ended up feeling really crappy even though I took my plexus.

I ended up with two days of bad head aches, feeling thirsty and cranky. Today I drank over my 100 and I felt awesome!

So far my results and thinking are that water and being active is helping me more than just the plexus by itself. Although, if I see any losses on the measuring Monday then I will 100% give that to plexus since I am not actively working out or stressing over what I eat.

12 oz of my almond coconut milk and tomorrow I will be finishing it off. It will be a plain unsweetened vanilla this time. I am really liking the unsweetened milks since the plexus is so sweet.

My water intake suffered a little these past two days and I can really feel a difference. I have had headaches and been a little more tired. My bathroom breaks are not as clear as they have been but I will be working on getting my water back up to 100oz tomorrow!

Good evening everyone! I am exhausted today! Went to sleep at 2 am last night and woke up at 7:30 am to get my son ready for school. I already got comfy in bed so this blog will be missing the pictures until tomorrow when I am on my actual computer vs my phone.

I took my slim today with 12 oz coconut almond milk. It was really delicious and I was sad when it was gone. Drinking the plexus in the mornings has really helped me out. I have a big issue with not eating before I clean or workout so when I drink the plexus with my milk then I know I am at least putting something in my system!

I had the thought the other day that I should share with everyone that I am still nursing my daughter and so far I have not noticed any weird affects with her while I am taking this stuff. No weight loss, extra hyper energy or loss of appitite, lol

Good Morning Stats

Good morning everyone! I am actually feeling really good today. I think it is because I am feeling so much less stress! Talking and blogging REALLY helped my stress level go down and I am almost done cleaning for now!!!

So I have some results going on for this week. I am down an inch on my waist and I have a small amount of weight loss. Seeing how stressed I was between both weeks, this is great.

Focusing on Feelings

Things I have noticed 3 weeks in, thanks to stress going down: More energy, sleeping much better, my body odor is less, my body is still flushing things out in a healthy way.

Yesterday and today I have actually worked out into a sweaty state and it feels wonderful and energetic. I noticed that my arms seem not as strong so I am going to start doing more resistance band work at home to get back to where I was. This is going to be happening!! I can focus myself vs spring cleaning and it is getting me excited! Now if only the kids would be positive and help me out,

Not the best

So today was full of tiring and not so great things. I worked my way though a lot of it but it could have been much better. I did start a Tupperware party so that was something positive, lol

I woke up and started deep cleaning my oven so I didn't really eat or drink anything until 11 am when I drank my plexus. I didn't eat until after 2 pm so today was a really bad day on that end. I also wanted to have a chocolate cake so I made one, lol!! It was delicious! Only had one slice so that was good of me.

Whoa, you guys. This milk is so amazing!!! I am so in love with it and I just had one glass today! When I mixed 13 oz of it with plexus and drank it, I had a wonderful coconut after taste and the level of sweet was perfect. If only it was cheaper. This is going to be a rare treat for me.


Feeling Better

I feel much better after venting so much on my last blog and I actually got a full night's sleep last night. I spoiled myself this morning with cinnamon pancakes and bacon. I have had the windows open so I could enjoy all the fresh, warm air and I have a yummy pot roast in the crock pot. 

I took the time to speak with my husband a bit more about some of the things I am stressed over and that really helped me as well. I am still stressed out and feeling anti social but it is not as bad as yesterday. 

Also, please remember! I only weigh and measure myself on Monday's. I feel like some people who ask me about my results don't bother reading my blog, lol

Plexus Slim Challenge Day 12

Finished off the chocolate Almond milk that was in my fridge and turns out it was 16 oz. I find that I really don't care for the chocolate anymore so I went to the store and bought some unsweetened Vanilla again.


Things with me

I have been under a lot of stress lately. I feel like crud all the time and I haven't been sleeping well at all. I have declined back to a state of mood swings that remind me of my post partum depressant days. I am avoiding leaving the house unless I absolutely have to. I have missed out on three events that I normally look forward to but I can't stand the idea of being social with others. 

I am struggling to just breathe through it all. I am sick of worrying about little things. So the point of venting all this? I am thinking all of my stress and anger is blocking a clear judgement of any effects that the Plexus might be having for me. 

I have been following the 100 oz of water and I do feel nice drinking all the water. As for feeling more energetic? No, but that is because I am not sleeping properly thanks to all my stress. If I was not so stressed out and worried about everything then I am sure I would be feeling better and upbeat. 

I freaking HATE not working out and the only thing that is holding me back is myself. I could workout any time but I decide to just sit around and be angry at the world or have to constantly clean my apartment. 

I will try to get rid of my stress and then I will be posting more positive results.

I am out of my Vanilla Almond Milk, I only had 8 oz left so I had to use some chocolate to make it 13 oz. That really bummed me out but I will suffer through it until I am out of my current chocolate container, lol


Water Intake

Okay, going to be really honest here. I am so sick and tired of water. 100 oz of water is ALL I drink in a day besides the plexus. No juice, no soda, nothing with flavor or taste. I am going to have to start adding flavor to my water. Infused waters are going to become my new best friend. If anyone has some affordable ways to make infused water, please share.

As a result of this though, I have actually become excited about drinking my plexus in the morning because it actually has flavor, lol!!! It goes by too fast some mornings.

Other things

So I don't think that I am feeling any different by just using the plexus slim by itself. I can see how companies like this can encourage you to take so many products and then suggest something is wrong with you vs the product if you don't have amazing results.

Now, I am not saying that there is anything wrong with this product but the fact that you tend to end up changing your eating habits, increasing your water intake and have the choice of working out more while using this stuff tends to leave me to believe that you are making the changes and the product is getting the credit.

I am only on Day 11 and I am going to keep going, of course! However, I am still wondering if the Plexus Slim is going to stay in my life after this challenge is over.

Thoughts

Nothing really else to report but things are going smoothly. I have been drinking my 100 oz of water every day and my bathroom breaks have lowered a lot. I am hoping that this is a good sign and my body is starting to process and work with the plexus.

My Workout

I am still cleaning my house and sorting through so many things. Lots of bending and flexing and squatting involved. I am going to be beyond relieved when this purging project is finished.

Movement for Today

Folding and sorting though laundry took up most of my day and I did some quick cardio to some upbeat music before dinner. I felt so much better after even such a short work out, I am looking forward to doing some more tomorrow.

Plexus Slim Challenge Day 8

My Results




So everything stayed the same except for my weight, I gained .6

When talking with people about it, we all agree that my stress level over the past week combined with a sudden increase in water is what caused it. On the positive side, this next week should go smoother since my body is getting more used to the water and I will do better to become more active again.

Sum it all up

I started this plexus challenge with no smoking, drinking of soda or alcohol. I haven't done an official workout in over 3 weeks. I try my best to eat 3 healthier meals a day. I drank a good amount of water but nothing close to 100 oz. Overall, I am pretty healthy so it might take me a little longer to see good results.

My Plexus Today

I used 17 oz of vanilla and it was really bland. That threw me for a loop! I think I might bring it down to 14 oz tomorrow. And I just decided to keep it simple and start dating and numbering the packets to show that I am taking new stuff every day.

Today I enjoyed a new flavor of Almond Milk, Vanilla Unsweetened! I used 16 oz of the milk and it was actually really good. I think this one might be a keeper.


My Day

Today was Easter Sunday so I took the kids to church and it was actually my first big gathering of people since I had been back from my vacation. It was really odd to be back on my normal routine and exhausting. I got home, made some lunch then had to take a long nap. As a result, I have only had about 40 oz of water today.

I have eaten breakfast, lunch and a couple snacks but no dinner as of yet and I am just wanting to go back to bed. I have been over using the computer lately so I have also been dealing with a headache that only gets bad when staring at the computer screen. Go figure, lol

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is my weigh in day and I am rather nervous. I guess I should be happy that I did not have a huge Easter family gathering this year and didn't over eat, lol, I shall be expecting SOME kind of changes between all these bathroom breaks and being home and healthy eating.

I used up the last of my Dark Chocolate Almond Milk today and 18 oz was the winning number. It was actually really good and I think I might keep it around that same level.


Activity Today 

I did spend a little time outside but I really enjoyed just resting. I had such a bad headache from spending so much time on the computer lately so I just took a break and enjoyed the sun. I really do miss my daily workouts in the mornings and felt disappointed in myself for not doing something.

Body Progress so far

I think my body is becoming more used to the water that I have been drinking. 100 + oz a day has really been great. I have been going pee less than when I started but still pretty often. One thing I have noticed is my body seems to be using the plexus and water mixture to flush itself in more than just pee. Bowel movements have become more frequent as the days progress. Nothing like a stomach flu but I can tell that my body is getting rid of some awful stuff that has been stored in my body for a while.

Eating Progress

I am so proud of eating 3 meals a day lately. It always seems to be a struggle for me and I am making better choices in meal ideas and portion sizes. I do not account these changes to plexus but on my own personal choices. Once I started with the Mountain Mama workout group, I noticed a big change in eating and my mental health. Going over 3 weeks with no official workout was a big change for me and I am really not liking it. I am hoping that I will get back to some kinda work out soon.

Since I was so excited about my dinner choice tonight, I am sharing a picture. Tonight I made Grilled Fish Tacos with Lime Cabbage Slaw and Cilantro Lime Rice for dinner. Thank you PInterest, lol

Today's Plexus Slim was taken with 12 oz of liquid and oh man, I am not doing that again! It was way too sweet and I realized why I bumped up the liquid content in the first place, lol!!! I think I will be going back to either 14 or 16 oz in the morning.


Eating habits today and Water Intake
Breakfast: 2 sausage links, 1/2 an english muffin with butter and some seasoned potatoes
Pre-Lunch snack: Fruit salad and a hard boiled egg and a couple pieces of little sausage bites
Lunch: Left over pork stew
Dinner: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots.
Dessert: Peanut butter cookies
Water level: 100 oz of water and still drinking!

Workout or lack of?
I did have a few walk around moments but nothing major and that was okay with me because I am so exhausted from all the cleaning and I am still not finished. I did get one of my new workout magazines in the mail today so I am thinking about trying something small in the morning.

Plexus Slim Challenge Day 4

Day 4: 3/24/16

Today has been really exhausting. I had another late start to my water intake but managed to get back on track.

I bumped up my dark chocolate almond milk to 16 oz today, to see what that does to the sweetness. It kinda helped and it helped give me more fluids, lol. Please note, I do not include the slim when measuring out my 100 oz of daily water.

Food took a back burner today. For breakfast, I only had a bowl of cereal, and a double protein English muffin with butter. For dinner I ate a bowl of pork stew. There was a couple snacks here and there but nothing to keep me happy. I spent the day in a bad mood and am so happy the day is almost done.

Today's work out consisted of scrubbing and more house cleaning. I am so ready to just hire a maid to take over all this cleaning crap :(

Plexus Slim Challenge Day 3

Day 3 of Plexus Challenge: 3/23/16

Today was a busy day for me and exhausting so I am not sure if I am feeling any results of the plexus slim or not. I decided to switch up my milk source to Silk Almond because the container was bigger. I also added 14 oz of milk so I could see if that helped tone down the sweetness. It kinda helped but it was still really sweet. I completed my 100 oz for the night and am hoping that my body will get used to it sooner vs later so I can cut my potty breaks in half.

My activity level these past 3 days has been deep cleaning my house, no actual working out has been done. I am hoping to fix that soon but spring cleaning is 100% needed!

I was wrong on how easy the 100 oz of water would be to consume. I really struggled with it yesterday. I ended up only drink 4 out of 5 bottles. I also had to get used to peeing so much again, rofl!!

Today was much better! I woke up to take my Son to school and drank my plexus while he was getting ready. The taste was way too sweet for me in the morning but it is easier to take it at that time and then wait the 30 minutes before eating.

I also started on my water drinking much earlier so I was able to get so much more in. I managed to get all 5 bottles in and I still have time to drink more.

So far I haven't really noticed any changes in my body or eating habits. I am being more mindful on actually eating 3 meals a day to go along with all the water I am drinking.

I think if nothing else, this is a really nice cleanse after being on vacation for so long.

Here is a run down of what I am doing:

1. Weigh in. 2. Measure in. What do you consider problem areas that you would like to see inches gone from? Thighs, waist, hips, arms, bust, butt, etc. 3. Take a selfie. Or have someone take a full body picture of you. 4. Have your product easily accessible and in a spot where you will remember to use it EVERY SINGLE DAY! 5. For this challenge your weigh in and "measure in" pictures are due on the following days: March 28th April 4th April 11th April 18th April 25th May 2nd FINAL WEIGH/MEASURE IN: MAY 9TH
6. Keep track and write down ANY changes in your body, habits or daily life that you may notice during this challenge.
7. Try to drink at least half your body weight in ounces each day! So, if a person weighs 200 pounds, they need to drink 100 ounces of water daily.

My starting information:



Once a week I will be weighing and measuring myself to see how the plexus slim is changing my body. I am hoping that I will at least get a couple inches gone from my tummy area, if nothing else.


Day 1 Thoughts:


This morning I had the Plexus Slim Pink Drink with 12 oz of unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk. It was similar to a chocolate covered cherry drink with no weird after taste. I used my Tupperware Quick Shake Container and had NO lumps and was able to drink the plexus rather quickly. Usually these kind of drinks take me forever to get down but it was easy today.

A Goal to Work From

1/29/16 

At the Dr's
I had a Dr's appointment this morning and I had to step on a scale to see my weight. I haven't done that in over 6 months so I had no idea what numbers I would be seeing. As I stood there staring at the number, praying for it to go down somehow, I was left wondering why I was so big. When I was younger, I made a promise to myself that I would never go above 200. Promise broken.

Mixed Feelings
I decided today that the scale will be a positive thing and show me that my hard work is paying off. I will go ahead and buy a scale and I will keep track on a weekly basis vs every day. I will set my goal small and achievable!

Yoga for Mom and Baby
Coral led us through a routine of mommy and baby yoga today and I really enjoyed myself. I have decided to stop hating yoga because it is a great way to stay limber and I am tired of not wanting to do yoga. Those in the class always hear me grumbling about how I am not into yoga or how I hate it and I guess here in the blog I can just say why.

The Not Surprising Answer
When I do yoga, I am forced to pay attention to my body and how out of shape and fat I have gotten. For the same reason that I do no look into mirrors on a regular basis, I do not like doing yoga because it forces me to really pay attention to all my lumps and bulges.

A Small Goal
I decided that I will be attempting to lose 5 pounds to start off with and I will give myself until the end of February.

A Bigger Goal
I will be attempting to lose 11 pounds total and to make my gut smaller. This has no time limit because I do not want to be rushed and not make progress.

A Side Note
The nurse in the office did tell me that my method of birth control has been known to put weight on some women. I am not going to be using this as an excuse until I have actually worked my ass off and can't lose any weight. No more excuses!!!
