June 23rd
Day 15: Today we had our warm ups and got our picture taken by the paper. Then we proceeded to do a short run and then met up again at the grassy baseball field where we put our strollers in a circle and did side shuffles followed by some burpies or just plank holds for a bit, while singing 5 little monkeys. Did I mention that there was singing in our group? We sing while we warm up and continue on with different songs depending on the exercises.
After the circle, we did resistance band squat rowing things and some lunge arm flex thingies.
We then moved to a different part of the park to did a relay style workout: lunge to the cones, do 5 push ups at the cones then lunged back to tag the next person to go. While you were waiting to be tagged, we did different types of arm work with the bands. In the front, in the back and to the sides.
Once the relay was all finished, we sang Old Mac Donald while working our legs with the bands.
We then proceeded to some exercises with yoga mat leg work. We did some butt lifting with our legs and arms then traced the ABC's with our legs while laying flat on our backs.
Finishing off, we did a few balancing leg stretches and then called it a day.
